Good Classic Arranged Duets

This a great book for students in primer/level 1 methods. Each piece has a simple duet for the student, often in parallel melodies making fingering easy if your student(s) read music alphabetically. Each piece is labeled which is for hte student, and which for the teacher. I have however, found that pairing a level 2 or level 3 student with a level 1 student has worked well in these arrangements of well known classics.

I would reccommend using as a supplementary book for whatever method(s) you use and not as a primary learning tool unless your focus is primarily on duet playing.

Great buy

I have really enjoyed using this book to play pieces with my daughter. She is still a beginner and is enjoying being able to play pieces that are longer than the typical beginner pieces but which are still simple. The accompaniment also is not very complex, so if you are a pianist who is a little rusty (like I am), you can still enjoy playing the secondo pieces.

This is a good book for many repairs on old Cadillacs

This is a good book for many repairs on old Cadillacs, The main thing I bought it for, replacing the headlight control module, is not included in the book, so I was a bit disappointed. Other than that though, it is a good book to have on hand for other repair issues that might come up.

I have become more at peace in my work and social life. I have stopped pretending and trying to seem like something I am not. I have found small moments of total freedom which I find are expanding day by day. On the other hand, I am not sure that I was ready for it until now. To benefit from its content, one has to be open to meditation, Buddhist psychology, and ready for changes to the core. I strongly recommend this book if you are ready for it. In fact, I have already personally recommended it several times.

A Must Read for Buddhists And New To Buddhism

I love Jack Kornfield's writing. His descriptions of incidents that have changed his life, how meditation and understanding of the psychology of meditation and Buddhism made his life what it is, is educational and inspirational. If I had found this subject decades ago, my life would have taken a different path.
From the bit I've read so far, I've concluded that my choices were part of the journey that led me to this.

Love this book- important thoughts to ponder and apply

Love this book so much, I bought a Kindle version while reading the paper version. I wanted to have it with me for moments I am in waiting rooms or on planes. Easy to read a few pages and see at least one thought I want to ponder. Also write some thoughts in my journal to reinforce the memory of them. A fiend and I are going to go through the end of chapter "applications", perhaps one a week. There is much to gain from this book!
