I'm pretty mixed on this book

I'm pretty mixed on this book. Some of the chapters are very clear, concise and helpful. Others kind of leave you scratching your head. Were there multiple authors?

Better than many of the other textbooks that tackle the subject
By A student of History
I've read a few epidemiology textbooks and this one has been the most accessible of the bunch - although including formulas and their explanations there is plenty of content that isn't focused on formula digestion. It also presented observational studies, and case-control study designs in particular, in a more contemporary and balanced light without the disdain that is easily recognized in other texts. As a textbook or access point for interested readers I think it serves quite well.

Good quality but not neccessary

Quite good. However in P359, the standard for choosing which result to present is incorrect. And the most important thing is that it's too expensive for me. Moreover, such kinds of books really don't help at all and it is shallow and so easy to understand. If you are taking similar lecture, I don't recommand you buy this book because it's not neccessary.
