Good book, touches upon a lot of information

First of all, it is typically a student guide.
Secondly., if you buy it second-hand there is a CD coming with it and that might then be missing. Having said that; I did buy it second hand, it did come with the CD and up to now I have not yet used, nor missed the CD, given it seems to focus on the case studies and exercises, which I don't follow.
It discusses a lot, touches upon a lot of information on operations and process management. But I have books of 400+ pages discussing specific topics of this book like 'inventory management' / 'resource planning and control' / 'risks and resilience'. etc. It gives a good introduction, but you will need to dig deeper with other books and resources for specific topics.
Another point would be that I still did not get a firm answer on what is really the big difference between operations managements, supply management, process management, value chain management etc.?! Not that it matters; it is all a matter of perspective. But it would have been nice to see a bit of a deeper discussion on these topics.
Still, a good book.
