Narkazan is focused on revenge against Promi, who is learning how to balance his newly found magical identity with his human upbringing and love for Atlanta. Promi and Atlanta fight as they try to understand their relationship now that they are part of two different worlds, especially since Promi's travel between the human and spirit world is endangering both realms. Narkazan's new human followers are industrializing and polluting Atlanta's forest, and the negative effects of their factories bring a strong environmentalist message to the story. Promi and Atlanta work to rescue Promi's kidnapped sister and defeat Narkazan's many schemes as the story rushes to a cliff-hanger ending that will leave readers anxious for the final volume in this trilogy. EXCELLENT FANTASY AND FAIRY STORY WORTH YOUR TIME TO READ

This is an excellent fantasy story for anyone who has ever ventured to believe in fairy world. The authors imagery is quite vivid leaving it easy to visualize the world he builds. It was a surprise find for me as I found this book and author through my local library. The book was perched on the check out shelf and poised for exploration. It is an easy read into that easy world of fairy fantasy. I will never forget it, and am going to look into some others by this author. A refreshing breath of air that is not easy to come by in a read by a current author. Also, I happened across the authors DVD that is about writing also and find it worth the time to explore also. Such a great find is not easily won everyday. Of late, I have been reading E.B.White and I would compare the quality of myth, but in a very fresh voice to that.
